STUDENT'S POINTS ACCOUNTS Jennifer Barder is now handling the Student's Points Accounts. There are point deduction request forms available in the Band Room for any student who wants to use points towards Band functions. GERTRUDE HAWKE CANDY BARS The ever popular Gertrude Hawke Candy Bar Fundraiser. Points are as follows: $18.00 for each carry case of mixed (48 ct.) candy bars sold, and $13.50 for each carry case of single flavor (36 ct.) candy bars sold. Students must pay for the candy that they've taken before getting more. Checks or money orders .... no cash please! Our Organization ID is 1003685 We are listed as "Bensalem High School Music Boosters". Go register (click here) now. Participating companies automatically donate a portion of each sale to the Bensalem High School Music Boosters. You can check the Reverb Site to see all the web sites that participate. Target, TJMaxx, Buy.com, Overstock, Office Depot, Radisson Hotels, Expedia and Petco are just a few of the places where you can shop and donate. There are NO FEES to the buyer. |

REGISTER RECEIPT FUNDRAISER Here's a reminder for the EASIEST Fundraiser that we have. How it works: ACME and GENUARDI'S will donate to the Music Boosters 1% from Register Reciepts that are turned in to the Boosters for submittal. You don't have to do ANY WORK !! You don't have to spend ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY !! Do your grocery shopping at either of these stores. Save your register receipts. Put them in an envelope marked "ACME Receipts" Have your child drop them in the Band CAN. NOTE: Genuardi's has changed their policy. Sign up at Genuardi's or on-line thru their web site. You designate which organization you want to benefit. Every time you use your Genuardi's card a minimum of 1% (increased based on your spending habits) will be automatically donated to the MUSIC BOOSTERs. The Boosters bundle them up, send them off and receive a nice check in the mail. For example, if you were to spend $200 each week for groceries, the Boosters would get $2 back. Over the course of a year this would amount to over $100 PER Family. If 100 Families did this simple task, we would receive $10,000 !!! |

TRASH FOR CASH FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
The Music Boosters have become involved in a new method of fundraising...and we don't have to sell a thing! Just save your used inkjet and laser computer cartridges, place them in original box, and send them in with your son/daughter to put in the band can or bring the used cartridges with you when you drop off/pick up your son/daughter from practice or when you attend a band parent meeting. The band will be reimbursed $1.34 for every inkjet cartridge and $8.00 for each laser cartridge that is turned in. Some of you may even be able to start a program at your office where these would really add up! This is a great way to earn funds for our program by turning "Trash into Cash"!!! Please call me with any questions you may have. Thank you as always for your support of our fundraisers! We also collect USED CELL PHONES and mail them to be recycled for cash back to the Boosters. Don't throw them out, bring them in !!! |
