MONEY SAVINGS CARDS

70% PROFIT!  Purchase the card for $10 and $7 of it goes to your points account.  These shopping cards are basically a coupon for online shopping.  Shoppers benefit from discounts from many online vendors, including Target, Macy’s, Walmart, Apple, etc.  WHO DOESN’T LIKE TO SAVE MONEY!  Perfect for the holidays!  These cards are good nation-wide, so they are easy to sell to far away family and friends as well.  This membership card never expires!

LOTTERY CALENDARS 25% profit

Only $10 and we ask that every member sell 4 calendars.  Every month through December, lottery calendars will be available.  Each calendar has a unique lucky number (of your choosing) that will win prizes from $20 to $100 all month if your lucky number is drawn (straight) in the Pennsylvania Daily Number drawing at 7:00 p.m.   Just look at the date that the daily number is drawn, and find out the winning dollar amount for that day.

Hurry, September calendars are available now and requests are due on August 28!  Put your request in the band box with a check for $10 for each calendar.  We need the student’s name, the buyer’s name and address winning check should be mailed to, three choices for your lucky number (in case your first choice is taken), and a contact phone number.  Your child will be given your official calendar asap.  This is a great, fun20fundraiser.  They make great gifts!  It’s the gift that keeps on giving!  If we have a lot of participants, we can raise the winning dollar amounts next month!

LOLLIPOPS 50% profit

Lollipops are available in 23 gourmet flavors.  A bag of 40 pops is $10.  When you sell each pop for $.50 you will get $20!  It is best to prepay your pops by giving the full $20 when you purchase the pops.  The $10 will go directly to your points account.  You keep the money that you collect during sales.  If you purchase the bag of pops for $10, then you need to send the $10 in after sales in order for it to get credited to your points account.

 

ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS

Always popular!  Entertainment books earn $15 into your points account.  Books sell for $30 each.

 

AUGUST FUNDRAISERS

PASTA FUNDRAISER

Forms and brochures were delivered this week.  Runs from August 17 – 28.  Delivery is to be announced.  Students receive 40% of sales!  The pasta is in fun shapes for clever presentation of your favorite dish! 

NINO’S HOAGIES

Hoagie coupons are $5 each.  $2 directly into points account per hoagie.  Nino’s Farm Market on Hulmeville Road next to St. Ephrem will make a delicious hoagie in 4 varieties:  turkey, ham  and cheese, Italian, or all cheese upon presentation of the hoagie coupon.  Place your hoagie coupon request form in the band box with a check.  Coupons will be delivered to your student.

Coupons can be redeemed at Nino’s from September 1 to October 31.

LOOK FOR THESE FUNDRAISERS!

JOE CORBI’S PIZZA

September 8th through 22nd.  Delivery October 13th from 3:30 – 6:30.  Joe Corbi’s sells itself!  These delicious items are great for stocking the freezer for last-minute dinners.  Just put your brochure out at the lunch table at work and you will sell a lot of pizza quickly!  Students earn $5.75 for each item sold.

HOME INTERIORS JAR CANDLES

(NOW OWNED BY HOME & GARDENS)

 

Students will earn $5.25 per candle sold.  Coming in October!

ICE CREAM PIES FOR THANKSGIVING!

The CHILL FACTOR local ice cream store will offer delicious gourmet ice cream pies for Thanksgiving.  Preorder in late October and delivery will be the week before Thanksgiving.

Jennifer Barder is now handling the Student's Points Accounts.
There are point deduction request forms available in the Band Room
for any student who wants to use points towards Band functions.
The form must be signed by a parent and put in the Band Can

REGISTER RECEIPT FUNDRAISER  
ACME and SHOPRITE will donate to the Music Boosters a percentage
from Register Reciepts that are turned in to the Boosters for submittal.

Save your register receipts.
Put them in an envelope marked "ACME or Shoprite Receipts"
Drop them in the Band CAN.
 
The Boosters bundle them up, send them off and receive a nice check in the mail.

TRASH FOR CASH FUNDRAISING PROGRAM

The Music Boosters have become involved in a new method of fundraising...and we don't have to sell a thing! Just save your used inkjet and laser computer cartridges, place them in original box, and send them in with your son/daughter to put in the band can or bring the used cartridges with you when you drop off/pick up your son/daughter from practice or when you attend a band parent meeting. The band will be reimbursed $1.34 for every inkjet cartridge and $8.00 for each laser cartridge that is turned in. Some of you may even be able to start a program at your office where these would really add up! This is a great way to earn funds for our program by turning "Trash into Cash"!!! Please call me with any questions you may have. Thank you as always for your support of our fundraisers!
 

We also collect USED CELL PHONES and mail them to be recycled for cash back to the Boosters. Don't throw them out, bring them in !!!
